Independence & Objectivity

We seek to understand each client’s objectives, constraints and risks before making recommendations. We distinguish facts, assumptions, analysis and judgement, and disclose material limitations where practical. We consider actual, potential and perceived conflicts of interest and may decline or limit work where independence or objectivity could reasonably be questioned. Clients remain responsible for decisions and implementation. 

Confidentiality & Proprietary Methodologies

We protect confidential information received from clients and other parties and will not disclose client names, confidential facts, data, documents, deliverables or engagement-specific results without appropriate authorisation.

Subject to our engagement terms and applicable intellectual-property rights, we may retain, develop and use our general skills, know-how, techniques, methodologies, frameworks, processes and approaches, including any Stratenium proprietary intellectual property identified as background or foreground intellectual property, provided that such use does not disclose or enable the identification of confidential client information.

Any public description of such an approach will be presented only as a generic methodology or illustrative example. It will not be described as a client case study, client endorsement or completed client outcome unless the relevant client has given prior written approval.

Removing a client’s name alone does not make information non-confidential. We will generalise or omit details where necessary to prevent reasonable identification of the client, its personnel, transactions, data or circumstances

Professional Conduct

We act honestly, respectfully and professionally. We do not knowingly misrepresent our experience, findings, sources or capabilities. We expect our people and partners to raise concerns early, document important judgements, protect personal data, and treat colleagues and stakeholders fairly. Retaliation against a person who raises a genuine concern in good faith is not tolerated.

Anti-Bribery & Anti-Corruption

We do not offer, request, authorise or accept bribes, kickbacks, secret commissions or other improper advantages. Gifts, hospitality, sponsorships and expenses must be reasonable, transparent, lawful and unrelated to an attempt to influence a decision improperly. We keep appropriate records and take reasonable steps to understand the integrity of counterparties. 

Responsible Use of AI

We may use AI-enabled tools to support research, drafting, analysis or workflow, subject to human oversight and appropriate controls. We do not treat AI output as inherently accurate, unbiased, confidential or fit for purpose. We verify material facts, protect confidential and personal data, consider intellectual-property and licensing risks, and retain human accountability for advice and decisions. We will not knowingly use AI to fabricate evidence, impersonate a person, discriminate unlawfully or circumvent a professional obligation.

We aim to make our website, publications and communications usable by people with different needs. We work toward clear language, readable structure, meaningful alternative text where appropriate, accessible document formats and reasonable accommodations in our interactions. We recognise that this statement is not a substitute for measurable sustainability reporting; where relevant, our commitments and progress will be communicated separately.

Questions & Raising Concerns

Concerns about ethics, conflicts, confidentiality, privacy, accessibility or the conduct of our people may be raised directly with us.

We will handle concerns sensitively, assess them fairly and take proportionate follow-up action. Where a matter may involve immediate risk, fraud, corruption or a legal obligation, we may escalate it to appropriate advisers or authorities.
